Immunefi Has Received the Optimism RetroPFG Grant

We are honored to announce that we have been selected as one of the recipients of the Retroactive Public Goods Funding (RetroPGF) initiative by Optimism. As part of this initiative, the Optimism Collective voted to distribute 30m OP tokens to reward contributions that have supported the development and adoption of Optimism.

Since its inception, Optimism has strived to develop a new model of digital democratic governance optimized to drive rapid and sustained growth of a decentralized ecosystem. A major part of this mission involves rewarding those who have created a positive impact on the community through the creation of public goods. The axiom behind Optimism’s mission is impact=profit, meaning that positive impacts on the collective should be rewarded with profit for the individual. In practice, this axiom is embodied via the RetroPGF initiative.

In the latest round of RetroPGF, Immunefi was awarded 129,193.07 OP tokens as a result of the voting. This round focused on funding contributions that have supported the development and adoption of Optimism. As the leading bug bounty platform on Web3, Immunefi has met this criteria by helping to ensure the security of the Optimism Collective and the broader Optimism ecosystem.

Together, both Immunefi and Optimism have a shared vision of a more decentralized, more prosperous, and more secure future for Web3. Thanks to the funding from RetroPGF, we will be able to further cultivate that vision through the improvements we will make to our platform and services.
