Shardeum Launches $250,000 Core II and Ancillaries II Boosts on Immunefi
Shardeum, the EVM-based autoscaling Layer 1 blockchain has launched two new Boosts on Immunefi to help secure their codebase, with a total of $250,000 in rewards available.
Shardeum aspires to be a chain capable of onboarding over a billion people to the blockchain. Their platform is open, collaborative, and community-driven — and aims to democratize accessibility to decentralization.
Shardeum has already hosted two Boosts — Core and Ancillaries — in Summer 2024, and on September 4th they’re launching Core II and Ancillaries II.
The Core II Boost offers rewards of up to $150,000 for critical vulnerabilities identified in the Shardus Core Protocol and the Shardum Validator Nodes. This code is largely written in TypeScript, and the Boost is ideal for elite whitehats who specialize in large validator and server-like competitions.
Shardeum is also running the Ancillaries II Boost, offering rewards of up to $100,000. Like the first Ancillaries Boost, this competition focuses on the Web2 aspects of the project, making it accessible for a broad range of security researchers, including those specializing in traditional web applications.
