Program Overview

MM Finance is the FIRST AMM & DEX on Cronos Chain that offers fee rebates via trade mining. They boast the lowest trading fees on Cronos Chain and on top of that, are the first to introduce Protocol Owned Liquidity (POL) into their DEX.

Traders will find potential projects on MM Finance early and accompany them to grow up to massive predators through trading, farming, etc. Projects will find the best support on MM Finance, including grants, arbitrage support, marketing support and their network that stretches outside of the CRONOS Chain.

This bug bounty program is focused on their smart contracts and app and is focused on preventing:

  • Thefts and freezing of principal of any amount
  • Thefts and freezing of unclaimed yield of any amount
  • Theft of governance funds
  • Governance activity disruption
  • Website goes down
  • Leak of user data
  • Deletion of user data
  • Access to sensitive pages without authorization

Rewards by Threat Level

Rewards are distributed according to the impact of the vulnerability based on the Immunefi Vulnerability Severity Classification System. This is a simplified 5-level scale, with separate scales for websites/apps and smart contracts/blockchains, encompassing everything from consequence of exploitation to privilege required to likelihood of a successful exploit.

All web/app bug reports must come with a PoC in order to be considered for a reward. All Critical smart contract bug reports must come with a PoC in order to be considered for a reward.

MM Finance requires KYC to be done for all bug bounty hunters submitting a report and wanting a reward. The information needed are the name, email address and country of residence. The collection of this information will be done via the bug bounty dashboard.

Payouts are handled by the MM Finance team directly and are denominated in USD. However, payouts are done in either BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, BUSD, CRO or MMF, up to the discretion of the team.

Out of Scope & Rules

  • Attacks that the reporter has already exploited themselves, leading to damage
  • Attacks requiring access to leaked keys/credentials
  • Attacks requiring access to privileged addresses (governance, strategist)

  • Missing HTTP Security Headers (such as X-FRAME-OPTIONS) or cookie security flags (such as “httponly”)

The following activities are prohibited by this bug bounty program:

  • Any testing with mainnet or public testnet contracts; all testing should be done on private testnets
  • Any testing with pricing oracles or third party smart contracts
  • Attempting phishing or other social engineering attacks against our employees and/or customers
  • Any testing with third party systems and applications (e.g. browser extensions) as well as websites (e.g. SSO providers, advertising networks)
  • Any denial of service attacks
  • Automated testing of services that generates significant amounts of traffic
  • Public disclosure of an unpatched vulnerability in an embargoed bounty
