Program Overview

Universe Finance is an active liquidity management platform of Uniswap V3 based on risk ranking and quantitative strategies.

For more information about Universe Finance, please visit https://www.universe.finance/.

This bug bounty program is focused on their smart contracts and is focused on preventing:

  • Direct theft of any user funds, whether at-rest or in-motion, other than unclaimed yield
  • Permanent freezing of funds
  • Theft of unclaimed yield
  • Permanent freezing of unclaimed yield

Rewards by Threat Level

Rewards are distributed according to the impact of the vulnerability based on the Immunefi Vulnerability Severity Classification System V2. This is a simplified 5-level scale, with separate scales for websites/apps, smart contracts, and blockchains/DLTs, focusing on the impact of the vulnerability reported.

The temporary freezing of funds is considered as Medium severity.

To be eligible for a reward under this Program, bug bounty hunters must:

  • Make a good faith effort to avoid privacy violations, destruction of data, interruption or degradation of Universe Finance.
  • Submit only one vulnerability per submission, unless you need to chain vulnerabilities to provide impact regarding any of the vulnerabilities.

Known issues previously highlighted in the following audit reports are considered out of scope:

Rewards for critical smart contract vulnerabilities are further capped at 10% of economic damage, with the main consideration being the funds affected in addition to PR and brand considerations, at the discretion of the team. However, there is a minimum reward of USD 15 000 for Critical smart contract bug reports.

Payouts are handled by the Universe Finance team directly and are denominated in USD. However, payouts are done in UNT. This payout may be done on Ethereum, BSC or Polygon chains, at the discretion of the team.
