Review code. Prevent hacks. Build rep. Get paid.
Immunefi launched in mid-December 2020 as the first bug bounty platform focused on smart contracts and blockchain. The goal is simple: we want to provide a space for security researchers to get paid while helping secure projects in the DeFi space.
Scams and hacks together have cost DeFi users over $100 million in 2020. That’s an unacceptably high number, and we want to everything we can to fix that problem.
A bug bounty platform works a bit like a digital scavenger hunt. Projects offer rewards for security researchers if they find bugs or vulnerabilities in smart contract code. This method benefits everyone, especially users. Bug bounties work especially well in tandem with security audits; security audits reveal known vulnerabilities and harden smart contracts against known risks, while bug bounty programs surface new types of vulnerabilities and protect against the unknown. Together, they dramatically lower the risk of a catastrophic hack.
We also provide full spectrum security audits to harden our customers against attack. Just as you get a smart contract audit to help secure your smart contracts, a full spectrum security audit helps secure your project against a broad array of non-smart contract attack vectors that could threaten your project.
But we’re not just limited to bug bounties and full spectrum security audits. We aim to regularly release products and tools that are useful for projects, devs, security researchers, and users. We want to make the DeFi space safer and more secure for everyone.
We want to become the immune system of crypto.

The Immunefi blog is where we’ll post important company news and updates, announce the launch of new bug bounties, provide detailed post-mortems on devastating hacks, conduct interviews with security researchers, and write heroic profiles of successful bug bounty hunters.
We hope to provide a steady stream of great content that you’ll enjoy reading and sharing. Stay tuned!
There are a few main ways to join and participate in the Immunefi community.
Discord: this is where we get to know everyone on a more personal level and provide sneak previews of projects and featuers to come. It’s especially recommended for developers and security researchers who want to talk shop, build new security standards, give product feedback, and make crypto safe. We hope to see you there.
Twitter: we use Twitter to broadcast Immunefi’s vision to the world and chat with hackers, projects, and general blockchain aficionados. Expect important security news, crypto aesthetics, contests, bug bounty updates, and more.
Newsletter: our newsletter provides streamlined updates on when new bug bounties go live on the Immunefi platform.
As a security precaution, it’s important to remember that all official social media and platforms that we use will be linked directly from the Immunefi website. If it’s not linked on our website, it’s not us. In some cases, we’ve reserved the Immunefi username on different platforms that we don’t currently use, but again, if they’re not linked directly from the Immunefi site, the default assumption should be that it is not an official Immunefi account until proven otherwise.
We’re still building our platform to make it even more useful for you, so if you would like to help us improve and get what you want to see on Immunefi, contact us at email@example.com.
